An instant favorite! Everything is so detail-oriented and well executed. The staff has always been friendly and inviting and felt like a friend by the end of the meal.

Everything I have tried is delicious! The crab stuffed avocado, queso blanco, fajitas...wow. My favorite though, the brisket enchiladas.  And the drinks! Their Ranch Water is my absolute favorite in all of Dallas!

Great job to the brothers who run this restaurant. You can tell that they genuinely want their guests to enjoy everything about their experience. Highly recommend!

Just had Las Palmas for the first time tonight and it was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Wagyu Steak Fajitas and it came out very fresh and topped with delicious melted butter.

Our experience started with warm tortilla chips and fresh red and green salsas, we then ordered the Queso Blanco as an appetizer and it was also incredibly good.

This hands down is the best Tex Mex in Dallas. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Good eats, great atmosphere, so cute!

It felt very Havana with 70s-style decor; pinks and blues and dark furniture, sparkling red booth, fabulous bar.

2 friends were in town and, of course, had to have Tex Mex. We were seated immediately upon arrival and quickly served salsa and chips--which we ripped into, one red salsa and the other green. Our waiter was extremely helpful and pleasant, attentive without crowding us and charming without being slimy. It was much appreciated. He also encouraged us to get an app, which we settled on the queso blanco and completely destroyed. I could've bathed in the stuff.

For our meals one of us got the Chimichanga, another the Gordita which is a la carte to which she added a side of rice and beans, and I treated myself to the Fiesta Fajita.

There was so much food. Everything smelled wonderful and tasted just as well. Well-seasoned, sizzling hot. Very much enjoyed the bone marrow butter that was poured over my meats just before it was served to me.

I will definitely pay this spot another visit!

Okay. Wow. Wow wow wow. Loved this place and my experience here!! Only knocking off a star because there were a few glitches in the service here and there, but Las Palmas is so close to earning a 5-star rating from me.

To start, the vibe is upscale but not snooty. Some women were in dresses whereas others were in t-shirts, so come as you wish and enjoy! We were seated at the table right by the front door which was a bit awkward, but we didn't fight it. Our waitress came to our table a few minutes later and was super upbeat. We asked if they had any margaritas (since none are listed on the menu), and she gave us a thorough run-down of the margarita options. She left to put in our drink orders, and then we did not see her for a short bit. A table got filled next to us, and they were promptly served chips/salsa and drinks. I'm not sure why we kept being neglected. Nonetheless, we eventually got served and were very pleased!

The chips and salsa are AMAZING. You get 2 complimentary salsas--each unique and equally delicious. The margaritas have the perfect amount of alcohol in them and are well done. We got the brisket tacos and were definitely satisfied with this choice. The brisket was a bit dry, but the tacos were stuffed and had plenty of flavor!! The tortillas were definitely homemade, and we ate allllll of our beans and rice. So so good all around.

I cannot wait to go back soon and try other menu options!

You can never have too many mexican restaurants, so when I saw that this place opened in the old Social House space, I was super excited.

Chips and salsa (3.5 stars): the chips are really good (you can tell they are made in house) and the salsas are just good. I did like that they serve green salsa in addition to the red, especially since I preferred it.

Food (4.5 stars): I got the chicken fajitas and my girlfriend got he seafood enchiladas. The fajitas were fantastic and were cooked perfectly. They tasted like they had a bit of smoke on them, and they had tons of flavor (would definitely get again). Served with the fajitas were some of the best flour tortillas I've had in Dallas. Not full of shortening and were cooked just right. My girlfriend got the seafood enchiladas, which I took a bite of, and while those were good, I liked my fajitas more. The rice and beans were average.

Service (3 stars): Service was not as attentive as I would have liked, but they are still relatively new, so hopefully it gets better. Still gets passing marks

Drinks (3 stars): I got a Roy Rogers, which was a little too sweet for me and my girlfriend got a margarita on the rocks, which was good.

Value (3.5 stars): Prices are a little higher than some of the chains in the area, but the quality of the ingredients is higher, so i think it's justified.

Ambiance (4 stars): beautiful design with nice accents. My only criticism would be the music. From what I've read, they are going for a Dallas Mexican restaurant from the 50's or 60's, so you occasionally, you hear Elvis, or something along those lines. Just doesn't quite fit IMO.

Overall, a few kinks to work out, but the fajitas and tortillas are on point, so I will definitely be back.
